BIOGRAPHY

Born in North London and raised somewhere between Sigmund Freud and John Keats' houses,
Sarah Rapson spent many years living and working in a factory building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York,
Currently, she lives and works in a ropemaker's terraced brick cottage, in Bridport, Dorset England.

Photographs taken in the City of London, and new work, made in Dorset, from used materials, (pallet wood, ash, stripped painting stretchers, salvaged housepaint and International Herald Tribune newspaper) alongside, a series of super 8 film (to dvd) projections, have all recently been shown at; Salon Nacional in Cali, Columbia, T12 space in London, Zurcher Studio, La Mama Galeria, and Cheim & Read in New York in 2010, Galerie Zurcher Paris,The 11th Lyon Bienale 2011, The Seattle Museum of Art, 2012, and most recently at Hansel and Gretel Picture Garden, New York City
